Well it has been a bit since I posted anything on here…..2 years and 7 months if one is keeping score. I started setting up this blog and well, never really got past the setup and few entries. Busy with life, busy riding the motorcycle, moving, jobs, etc etc….and oh yeah, did I mention also just a bit lazy?)

So, since my last post on November 22, 2017 I have moved to Ramona, California from Lake Elsinore, California. Back then my son was less than a month old, now he will be turning 3 in November. I have gone on several multi day motorcycle trips to include Death Valley, Pacific Coast Highway, California Redwoods (twice) Lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada Mountains, Oregon, Washington state, Utah (twice), Nevada (twice), Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas (just a corner in panhandle), New Mexico, and Arizona. Gosh if only I had a blog setup that I could have posted daily updates, pictures, and general thoughts and news during these trips, that would have been cool huh…..I am such a slacker lol. Well, no time like the present. One mustn’t grumble, now pip pip…..move along now.

To be fair, I did post many daily updates, photos, and some raw GoPro videos on Facebook and YouTube and those were my mediums for sharing my trips….but still, not good enough. So I have revived this blog, re-branded it along with a new YouTube channel, Wanderlust Lyfe. Wanderlust Lyfe is a slight evolution of this blog site name. Mainly because I wanted a .com domain name and my wife suggested that I just spell life as “Lyfe”, thanks honey, great idea, I am glad I thought of it (cough, cough). Anyways….

What to Expect? I am glad you asked. I will be blogging about the trips that I have already completed more or less day by day starting with my most recently completed trip, USA West 2020 6,011 mile motorcycle trip that included the western U.S. states (and Kansas). Next will be the Nevada – Utah 2019 Motorcycle Trip, California Loop 2018 Motorcycle trip, Death Valley 2018, and other smaller rides & trips in California and some of the older ones when I started to ride again in 2015 and 2016. The next big trip is scheduled for this fall in October 2020 called USA South 2020 (Move to Georgia). We are preparing to move to the Atlanta, Georgia area in late October. I will be riding out to our new home in mid October (and fly back to drive one of the family vehicles across country…oh joy lol).

So lots of content promised, this time I will deliver with posts, pictures, and video content on the Wanderlust Lyfe YouTube channel..
