Here is USA West 2020 Day 7 From John Day Dam, WA to Mountain Home, ID. I struggle allot with the heat this day but did not realize that was the problem until my third mandatory rest stop and realized I was soaked in sweat and feeling terrible, yep I am a genius lol. Prior to the third stop I just kept feeling super tired and then was having a very hard time remaining focused and felt like I wanted to fall asleep. Very dangerous for sure. I stopped and took a very long break at a resort café, ate, and drank allot of fluids (water and Gatorade). The USA West 2020 Day 6 video has been posted on YouTube.
This video is not as long as some of the other full day videos (long is a relative term lol). I start out with leaving the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, WA and roll Southwest via US Highway 395 with a stop in Paso, WA for laundry and a delicious lunch of Costco canned Chili, Tabasco and Diet Coke. Then I roll onwards via Washington State Highway 14 to John Day Dam where I setup camp.

From Deception Pass I ride down to US Highway 2 and roll East through the mountains over Stevens Pass and Eastward into the high plains to Spokane, WA.
