USA West 2020 Day 7 Video

Here is USA West 2020 Day 7 From John Day Dam, WA to Mountain Home, ID. I struggle allot with the heat this day but did not realize that was the problem until my third mandatory rest stop and realized I was soaked in sweat and feeling terrible, yep I am a genius lol. Prior to the third stop I just kept feeling super tired and then was having a very hard time remaining focused and felt like I wanted to fall asleep. Very dangerous for sure. I stopped and took a very long break at a resort café, ate, and drank allot of fluids (water and Gatorade). Then I also change from my leather jacket to mesh and felt 100% better for the remainder of the trip.

Original plan was to ride to and camp at the Craters of the Moon National Monument Park, but with all the stops and slow travel combined with a high miles day, I cut the planned route just a little short and stopped in Mountain Home, Idaho and stayed in a comfy motel instead.
All of my riding in Idaho during USA West 2020 unfortunately turned out to be Interstate riding (boring). However, I am planning on rolling back into Idaho and camping at the Crater of the Moon during my USA Northwest 2026.
