I created a 12 minute video of the ending of USA South 2020 of my ride to the new house in Georgia riding a portion of Georgia Highways 5 and 166.

When De’Andra and I were at the house in August, we had Comcast Internet service setup to monitor the home via Ring and I also have a few computer systems setup for remote access (I am an IT nerd). A couple of weeks prior to the start of USA South 2020, we lost internet access to the house. The remains of Hurricane Laura passed through the Atlanta area at that time. So, I was assuming that either a power line or the cable line was taken down by the storm, or there was a problem with power within the house or an issue with the cable modem. As soon as I arrived at the house, it was clear what the problem was as the cable line was draped across the driveway and garage with the Xfinity box torn from the house. Comcast fixed the connection that same weekend….yaay.

Georgia Move

I arrived at the house with Dexter on Friday October 16th, 2020. On Sunday October 18th, 2020 I flew from Atlanta back to Los Angeles, California to work remote for my new job, wrap up the packing and other loose ends in California. On Monday October 26th, 2020 I leave Ramona, California driving our embattled 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan to Georgia while De’Andra and Tristan fly out from Los Angeles the next day to Atlanta. They will arrive at the house a day before I arrive with the Tiguan.
